Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Other for a permanent assignment in Globe, Arizona.
Responsibilities for a Other:
• Lead Health Information Management (HIM) operations in a rural hospital setting
• Ensure regulatory compliance within the HIM department
• Oversee medical records and coding processes
• Maintain data integrity across HIM functions
• Provide supervision and support to HIM staff
• Demonstrate strong leadership skills and broad HIM expertise
• Adapt quickly to a small, fast-paced environment while providing hands-on support
• Work a Monday through Friday schedule in a professional exempt capacity
• Manage HIM operations serving an average daily census inclusive of acute, newborn, and observation patients
• Comply with flu vaccine requirement with no exceptions
• Adhere to a permanent address located more than 100 miles from the facility
• Limit time-off requests to no more than 3 days per 13-week contract
