Job Title: Ambulatory Care
Location: Fort Defiance, Arizona
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $59 – $63/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Ambulatory Care for a temporary assignment in Fort Defiance, Arizona. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Ambulatory Care:
• Provide specialized registered nurse services in a Diabetes Clinic setting involving consultation, assessment, and evaluation of diabetes-related services to individuals, families, and communities
• Maintain an active Registered Nurse License
• Maintain current American Heart Association BLS/ACLS certification
• Hold a current Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) certification obtained within the last 3 years of start date
• Work Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with a 1-hour lunch break; no weekends or holidays required
• Apply strong critical thinking and triage skills, including knowledge of ESI (Emergency Severity Index)
• Provide registered nurse services within both the Diabetes Clinic and Primary Care Clinic as needed
• Demonstrate a minimum of 3 years of recent experience in the applicable specialty
• Attend orientation as scheduled (held every other Monday); comply with all compliance deadlines to avoid being pushed to the next scheduled orientation
• Adhere to all facility policies and procedures for patient care delivery
