Job Title: MED-SURG
Location: Warwick, Rhode Island
Schedule: 7:00AM – 7:00PM x 3
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $68 – $74/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a MED-SURG for a temporary assignment in Warwick, Rhode Island. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a MED-SURG:
• Maintain current nursing licensure and ensure verification through Nursys and License/Certificate Verification
• Complete required CNE Skills Checklist prior to submission
• Pass CNE Specialty Competency Exam, Basic EKG Exam, Pharmacology Exam, and Core Competencies assessments during onboarding
• Maintain BSN qualification as required for the role
• Complete fingerprinting requirements as applicable for RN licensure
• Comply with all immunization and health requirements including COVID-19 Vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza Vaccine, Varicella, and Tdap
• Maintain current TB screening documentation including 2-Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) and Fit Test
• Submit a valid Driver’s License or State ID for onboarding
• Provide 2 professional references covering relevant clinical experience prior to submission
• Complete and submit CNE Profile and CNE Work Attestation prior to start
• Complete required onboarding documentation including CNE First Look Orientation Packet, Non-Employee Confidentiality Agreement, Employment Verification, Confirmation of Assignment, and Work Attestation
• Submit to and clear a Criminal Background Check
• Obtain Occupational Health clearance by submitting the CNE Occ Health Request for Clearance Form
• Provide a CNE Badge Photo for identification purposes
• Adhere to CNE Covid and Flu Policy as documented on the CNE form
