Job Title: Rehab
Location: Herrin, Illinois
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $59 – $63/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Rehab for a temporary assignment in Herrin, Illinois. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Rehab:
• Provide nursing care services on the Inpatient Rehabilitation (day shift) unit
• Perform all duties consistent with a medical floor setting, excluding Heparin Drip administration
• Work with a high neurological patient population
• Maintain current Illinois Registered Nurse license
• Maintain current CPR/BLS certification
• Maintain current ACLS certification
• Maintain Stroke Certification (required due to high neuro population)
• Apply NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale) as required for neurological patient assessments
• Provide care across a variety of unit types as needed, including Medical/Surgical, Progressive Care, Stepdown ICU, Intensive Care, Emergency Room, Acute Rehab, Cardiac Catheterization, Cardiac Care Decision Unit, Interventional Imaging, SDS Procedure Room, and Recovery Room
• Adhere to all applicable facility policies, procedures, and dress code requirements
• Maintain compliance with all required certifications and documentation standards
