Job Title: Wound Care
Location: Fort Defiance, Arizona
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $65 – $70/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Wound Care for a temporary assignment in Fort Defiance, Arizona. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Wound Care:
• Assess, plan, and implement care to patients with ostomies, draining wounds, fistulas, pressure ulcers, acute and/or chronic wounds
• Provide comprehensive wound and ostomy care to patients
• Educate and teach patients and their families/significant others regarding wound and ostomy care management
• Evaluate, select, and recommend appropriate supplies and equipment for optimal wound and ostomy care
• Maintain current American Heart Association BLS certification
• Maintain current Wound Care Certification (mandatory)
• Maintain ACLS certification (preferred)
• Apply a minimum of 3 years of wound care experience in the delivery of patient care services
• Work Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM schedule
