Job Title: Radiation Oncologist
Location: Grand Forks, North Dakota
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 22-week assignment with the potential for extension.
Pay Rate: $325 – $350/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Radiation Oncologist for a temporary assignment in Grand Forks, North Dakota. These positions are 22-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Radiation Oncologist:
• Provide locum tenens coverage for a Radiation Oncologist during vacation and leave of absence periods
• Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. during designated coverage dates
• See an estimated 18 to 24 patients per day in an outpatient clinic setting
• Operate Accuray equipment including Tomotherapy and Radixact machines
• Utilize Mosaic treatment planning/documentation system for patient care
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including Physicists, Dosimetrists, Radiation Therapists, Radiation Oncology APP, Nurse, and Patient Access staff
• Maintain board certification in Radiation Oncology
• Hold or obtain a valid North Dakota medical license (IMLC considered if provider has an easily transferrable DEA)
• No call responsibilities required
