Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a LVN/LPN for a permanent assignment in Quincy, California.
Responsibilities for a LVN/LPN:
• Deliver technical nursing care to Residents using the nursing process as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
• Function as a member of the nursing team under the supervision and direction of a Registered Nurse (RN)
• May assume charge nurse role in the Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
• Apply good clinical judgment in patient care delivery
• Plan work, establish priorities, and maintain flexibility in a clinical setting
• Maintain current California LVN license
• Maintain current CPR Certification
• Utilize proficient written and verbal communication skills in a healthcare environment
• Use a computer proficiently for documentation and related tasks
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures for patient care delivery
